Guntermann & Drunck is not only part of the biggest sports events worldwide, but also cares about the local sports in Wilnsdorf, Germany.

That’s why Christoph Seyfert, head of G&D’s IT department, handed a donation of € 500 to VTB Wilnsdorf, a sports club for gymnastics and recreational sports.

VTB Wilnsdorf offers a wide and varied range of activities. From trampoline jumping for little ones, jazz dance and gymnastics groups up to Volleyball, Nordic Walking or „Fit for 50+“ courses – the sports club’s programme provides something for resident’s of all ages.

„We are really happy about Guntermann & Drunck’s donation. It will help us a great deal to fund our yearly Showtime event.“ says Robert Maaß, first chairman of VTB Wilnsdorf e.V.

The next Showtime will take place 02/03/2013. Club members, friends and families all look forward to spending the day together in Wilnsdorf’s festival hall. There, all athletes will show what they are made of. And the club even expects a special performance from a contestant of the German casting show „Supertalent“.

„We are glad to be able to support VTB Wilnsdorf with our donation.“ says Christoph Seyfert. „Guntermann & Drunck operates worldwide. But we don’t want to lose our local community out of sight. Assisting the club members‘ voluntary work is a contribution to our region. Being from Wilnsdorf myself, I think that supporting local clubs is extremely important.“
